Images from the Women’s March are inspiring and empowering

For the second year in a row, women all over the United States — and in countries all over the world — are gathering together for the second annual Women’s March. Local city marches are being held today, and inspiring images are popping up all over Twitter.

Protesters everywhere are holding brilliant signs and sharing powerful messages to everyone watching. From coast to coast, women everywhere and their families are out and they are marching.

Moms Demand Action members show up in St. Louis to fight for better gun legislation because “Gun violence is a women’s issue.”

Moms, dads, and kids of all ages are out in full force today, one year to the day that Donald Trump was inaugurated as our 45th president.

How is it that a seven-year-old can grasp what a 70-year-old world leader cannot? GIRLS RULE.

All over the country, people are coming out in droves to show Trump just how the feel about his first year in office.

It’s amazing to see so many young people coming together to march today.

From Colorado to New York to Washington, D.C., people are coming out in droves for this year’s march.

OK, that picture from New York should give everyone goosebumps.

Amid the government shutdown where the powerful men in charge aren’t working, women are out there getting the job done.

Once again, it’s a pleasure to see everyone’s creativity on display via killer protest signs.

AMEN. Our own president proved he isn’t the most apt figure to discuss female reproduction after his epic fail delivering a speech at the March for Life rally this week.

Thousands of women will come together in Las Vegas for a women’s march convention. The theme is “Power to the Polls.” From the womensmarch.com: “From the Women’s March to the Women’s Convention, we’ve seen how powerful we are when we gather together, share space and lift each other up. Join us in Las Vegas as we prepare to take that power to the polls.”

It looks like all the women out today aren’t backing down on electing more women to public office.

One mom brought her young daughter so she could feel empowered by the movement.

“I want her to know she too can run for president, run for Congress. She too has rights.” Amen to that — Kennedy’s got my vote.
